Pope Francis Confirms Mexico Trip, Including Stop at US Border

ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE - Pope Francis confirmed on Wednesday that he plans to visit Mexico in February 2016, including a stop at Ciudad Juarez on the US/Mexican border, a gesture clearly intended to express the pontiff's solidarity with immigrants making their way to America in search of opportunity.

"I'm going to leave through [Ciudad Juarez] because I wanted to enter the United States from this city," the pontiff said to reporters traveling with him on a six-day swing through Africa. He was referring to his trip to the US last September, when Francis had originally hoped to make a stop at a border destination.

Francis likely will use the stop in Ciudad Juarez to extend the same message of support for immigrants he delivered in the United States.

"I ask you not to forget that, like those who came here before you, you bring many gifts to your new nation," the pope said on Sept. 26 before an estimated 24,000 people, including scores of Hispanic immigrants, gathered at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.

"You should never be ashamed of your traditions. Do not forget the lessons you learned from your elders, which are something you can bring to enrich the life of this American land," he said.

Yeah, I’m about ready to hand in my Catholic ID card.

What does my religion have to do with bringing down the United States?

Why doesn’t he go visit drug cartel heads unaccompanied or go visit MS13 with 5k in cash on him if he is so sure of their goodness

How many families of the murdered has he visited? How many rape victims or DWI victims.

If this is spouted at my church, i’ll take my chances with hell.

And this goes out to all the “christian” preachers, reverends, priests, bishops or whomever is endorsing gay marriage or illegals or transgenders or God knows what else, you’re NOT CHRISTIAN.

Just a copy.

And a bad one.

This really pisses me off too. And yes practicing catholic. However, this is getting out of hand. Does the Pope ask Mexico to allow illegal Americans into their country freely? Because if you try and enter Mexico illegally, you will be jailed for a very long time. Hello Pope you say that to Mexico and then maybe you can say it here.

With a little luck, when he crosses from Mexico the Border Patrol will arrest him as an illegal alien...

As a Catholic, I am thinking liberation theology might be his field of expertise.

So, is he going to pick watermelons for fifteen hours a day just to get the whole experience?

Not at all. And I stuck up for the Pope way longer then i should have. Many on here were seeing things that I “purposefully” explained away that he was the Pope and had our intentions in mind. No more. This is the last straw. Visiting Mexico and coming to outside of the border is beyond acceptable. Had he done it on the trip to the US, I would have liked it but wouldn't have taken it as a slap. He is close to being “dead to me”. I won't leave the church because of him but I will pray that his Raine will end soon.

Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology, Liberation theology.

It’s been the Latin American Jesuit mantra since Vatican II.

When will these brainiacs learn it’s an economic failure and a theological failure (It’s more like, “Hey, try to get into Caesar’s political organization and become an elitist yourself” instead of “Give to Caesar that which is Caesar’s.”

The first Pope ever to make war on the West. And America in particular.

This Pope and the Marxist U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops are confirming everything the KKK, the Union League, the Know Nothings, etc., ever said about how Catholicism is hostile to the U.S. Constitution, liberty, economic freedom, etc.

This Pope is a sock puppet of George Soros.

Don’t allow anyone—not even a stupid, Marxist, corrupt Pope—to drive you away from the Catholic Church. Stay and fight. Do all you can to neutralize him using the truth, and ridicule. Someday soon, we will have a better Pope. The “mafia” that elected him have disgraced themselves.

Will he be recycling Cardinal O'Malley's Nogales fence? He could thus demonstrate his red and green bona fides simultaneously.
