What is this theological principle by which immigrants have no duty to respect the laws of the nation to which they migrate?

It's the principle of mystical nationalism which the Left has pushed since the end of World War II.

Hispanics (or Latinos, both words ironically of European origin) are the original autochthonous or indigenous people of the Western Hemisphere who grew organically out of the very soil of their Mystical Motherland. Whites or Europeans or Westerners or whatever you wish to call them are "foreign devils" who are occupying conquered territory where they have no business being.

Since WWII he Left has been all about reverse Hitlerism. The Left originally was internationalist, universalist, and class-centered, championing coal miners and lumberjacks. Now coal miners and lumberjacks are redneck rapists of Mother Earth and her "indigenous" children.

Interestingly, this adoption of reverse Nazi mystical nationalism is also why the Left turned against the Jews (all mystical nationalists, right or left, hate the Jews). Ironically, at first the Jews and Israel benefited from this as the Communist world supported them for a brief time (and longer inside the United States). But now in the name of opposing Nazism the Left wants to kill Jews to fuel a mystical blood-and-soil nationalist ideology for anti-Semites, supposedly of color.

The Left is certifiably insane.

Interesting. And it’s noteworthy that even before WWII socialists were transforming into mystic nationalists with apparently little provocation. Mussolini case in point.

I put no stock in the distinction between European left and right. They both seem to deify the state, so neither interests me.
