Have 'cash on hand,' warns 'blood moons' discoverer - 'We need to be prepared mentally...

Rare blood-moon events already have happened three times in the last year or so, and on Sept. 28, there will be a fourth – the final appearance in what is an even more rare tetrad sequence.

Because of how close it will be to earth, this final blood moon will appear both larger and brighter than usual, giving it a special significance.

Such a series of events would be noteworthy at any time, but reports of looming economic turmoil and geopolitical instability are leading some observers to speculate this “super blood moon” heralds a dramatic change in world events.

Maybe economic upheaval.

Or worse.

The man who discovered the existence of the blood moons tetrad is warning the astronomical events are no mere coincidence but a heavenly message from God.

Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries argues signs in the sky are one way God communicates with human beings. The significance of heavenly bodies, he states, is acknowledged even by those who are not religious.

“The whole world, religious and non-religious, is fascinated about the blood moons,” Biltz told WND. “The reasons are because they’re beyond our control, they’re heavenly objects able to speak to every tribe, nation and tongue, filling us with awe and wonder and then they also have been regarded as omens all throughout world history with ominous events happening surrounding their timing.”

Biltz, author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” first discovered the existence of the blood moons phenomenon in 2008, later sharing his findings with other Christian leaders, including John Hagee. At that time, Biltz says he predicted economic turmoil would correspond with the final blood moon.

Now, Biltz claims, a financial collapse may be under way.

“So many signs in the market, in the heavens, as well as when they are

Well, there was a guy on C2C the other night talking about a “shmitah”sp? on September 13th or thereabouts.

I’m not sure what that means, apparently debt forgiveness followed by economic collapse.

Anyways a LARGE number of institutions including Citi and JPM are warning about a stock market “correction”. Given all the warnings about this happening, NO ONE can reasonably stand up after the fact and whine “Why didn’t they tell us....???”

Believe me, they are telling you now.

Just my opinion.

I consider those as doom and gloom moneymaker books and dangerous.

I agree. If enough people believe something bad is going to happen, and those people en masse can make a difference in the way things play out, a well-accepted prediction becomes self-fulfilling.

If everyone had believed that the stock market was going to crash last June, and acted accordingly, the Dow would be under 10,000 by now.

That said, I didn't need to hear the election results in 2008. I knew something very big was terribly wrong. I have no explanation for that, and such things rarely happen with me, but the feeling was palpable.

For over a year now, perhaps due to watching for and noting the contractions in my industry, I have been putting away stuff, always wanting to stash more, including food, fuel, and media of exchange.

Realistically what can we do beyond what we are already doing. I am working hard to get change in our political leadership. But, I love politics. It’s not like I can go to Iran, and pee on one of the circuits for the centrifuges. Like I say, I talk to God frequently, but His design for this planet is beyond my comprehension. So why not party like its 1999? Sitting around and stewing about it doesn’t do anyone any good.

God told us to be watchmen and there would be signs in the heavens. I would say four blood moons on four of ancient Israel's high Sabbath and Feast days bears posting worthiness.

Doesn’t mean I’n not concerned.

Oh, you can be "concerned" but anyone who posts on it is a nut?

The Shemitah comes every seven years. After seven cycles of seven years, there is a Year of Jubilee. Some internet sources say the 70th Year of Jubilee starts this October. Jews do not currently commemorate Jubilee, but they do observe Shemitah.

The blood moon tetrad repeats on an average of about 400 years.

The Tetrad of Four Blood Moons: A series of four consecutive total lunar eclipses, with six full moons in between, and no intervening partial lunar eclipses, all falling on consecutive holy days of Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. This rare event has happened only seven times, so far, since 1 A.D. and has sometimes coincided with important events in Jewish history.

Prophesy referenced by Wikipedia article:
“The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Yahweh comes.”
– Joel 2:31

“The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.”
– Acts 2:20

Oct. 8, 2014 – Blood Moon (First Day of Feast of Tabernacles) wikipedia
Mar. 20, 2015 – Equinox, New Year Total Solar Eclipse at North Pole wikipedia

Sept. 13, 2015 – New Year Partial Solar eclipse at South Pole wikipedia

There was also the Venus/Jupiter conjunction in the Leo constellation on June 30 and July 1, 2015, that the news played up as a "Star of Bethlehem" formation. This is the only one that does not necessarily seem significant to me.

But, Keep cash on hand because of the “blood moon”? That’s the equivalent to me of, “If you play the record backwards, you’ll hear Satan”. Absurdity deserves exposure.

Watching for signs is "absurdity"? Watchmen need to watch:

Act 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

And of course the fools always say:

2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

So you'd rather party like it's 1999 like they did in Sodom and Gomorrah, and in Israel before the Assyrians and Babylonians invaded, etc, rather than fellowship in discussion about what could be signs from God?

http://www.macrotrends.net/1470/historical-silver-prices-100-year-chart

Silver at $15 an ounce is about $2 an ounce above its 30 year average, adjusted for inflation.

http://www.macrotrends.net/1333/historical-gold-prices-100-year-chart

Gold at $1100 an ounce is about $300 an ounce above its 30 year average, adjusted for inflation. Note: I recommend ignoring gold prices before 1975 because of old laws on possession of gold.

Neither has been a great investment historically, but they are not bad options at this time for those who see utility in the physical possession of precious metals. As for cash, it doesn’t lose any more value to inflation in your pocket than it does in the bank. A little gold, silver, or cash is a prudent option that costs little.

blood moons are of significance to Islamists

Probably so. Islam is the counterfeit of Christianity. For example, our salvation is assured by the death (and resurrection) of someone else, Jesus. In Islam, your salvation is only assured by your own death in martyrdom.

Fine.

Don’t take it seriously.

Just don’t come begging for help if anything happens.

Google the Shemitah ... then Google Jubilee Year ... then read Luke 21:36; John 14:1-5; 1 Thess 4:13-18; 2theses 2:1-5; and 1 Cor 15:51-53

Many Christians see a confluence with current events, the growing impossible indebtedness, and Biblical prophecy.

Number of volcanoes erupting right now greater than 20th century YEARLY average

I would really love to know what the pink figure-8 represents on the image below).

http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/OH/OHres/SEfigurekeyP.html has an explanation of the map.

The far western part (Angola out to the Atlantic) of the figure 8 is where the partial eclipse ends right at sunrise. The curve to the east (Angola to South Africa to Antarctica) is where the eclipse starts at sunrise. The straight line in between is where the eclipse is at its maximum at sunrise. The eastern loop is similar for sunset. They join right where the sun is barely above the horizon at the combined sunrise/sunset in the antarctic winter when the partial eclipse occurs.

http://www.universetoday.com/119241/a-complete-guide-to-the-march-20th-total-solar-eclipse/ discusses the March eclipse with a more detailed graph of that eclipse.

Ever since I was a boy, I've been hearing these astrology quacks predict doom every time there is an uncommon celestial event.

100% of the time, life goes on as normal.

Think about it though, Earth is a tiny planet in a tiny solar system in a tiny galaxy in a vast universe that we cannot even comprehend. In that context, it's utter foolishness to assign significance to how planetary objects line up from the perspective of our puny little planet.

It's fun to look up in the sky and point out conjunctions, eclipses, comets, etc., but those events do not portend anything at all.

At one time we held a 3 year reserve of grains but they/we we decided it cost to much. Now if we don’t use the last bushel from last years crop the same day the first bushel of the new crop comes in, we screwed up.

Why was a reserve important? We had seen starvation in Europe during WWII and after.

yes, a recipe for disaster.........................
