Bingo! That’s why this false doctrine is so insidious. It’s exactly what Satan wants Christians to believe so that they will be unarmored and unarmed for the conflict to come.

Explain away Matthew 24. Almost the entire chapter is a list of things that must occur before the end of the world and Christ’s return, spoken from Christ’s own lips.

I have to disagree with you on one point. The first resurrection is not limited only to those faithful who died during the tribulation. All the faithful are raised at that time, first the dead, and then those still living are glorified as well.

Try using different tools to understand the difference between the Olivet Discourse and the Temple Discourse in Luke 21. Apply the notion of imminency to Matthew 24 of Mark 13. Won't work, so either you throw out the dcotrine of imminency or refigure your persepctive. Imminency is taught clearly in scriptures. The magisterium of course would not like folks looking at that fact.
