Mormons and LGBT people historically havent gotten along. The church has been active in efforts to end gay marriage, and even the Supreme Courts most recent opinion hasnt deterred them from fighting. So thats why it came as a surprise to almost everyone that the historically anti-gay church just made its first donation to an LGBT cause. While the church still doesnt approve of homosexuality, that didnt stop them from making a recent donation to the Utah Pride Center, an organization that helps to serve homeless LGBTQ youth...

I’m your huckleberry...
I don’t like mormonISM...mormons as a group of people, are just like any other group; good, bad and ugly.
The mormon temple rituals are but one classic example of what is wrong with mormonISM and how it is in direct conflict with the historical purposes of the OT temples. I won’t get into the mormon teaching/doctrine of the nature of God and Jesus...(exalted man who became “the” god of the universe.)
And if you’re inclined to believe that I’m either an anti-mormon or “hate” mormons, know this...I was one, am married to one, have a son in the mission field, know many, work with many, serve in various volunteer capacities with many, etc.
I witness to them whenever and wherever I can, in a Christ like manner, in hopes of helping them out of the convoluted and destructive doctrine of mormonISM...
Do you honestly believe that God the Father, a being possessing flesh and bone, had physical relations with Mary in order to begat Jesus?
Then it would appear the Church must stand firm as other denominations fall by the wayside for the sake of convenience and popularity.
