In a village 20 km south east of Mosul in northern Iraq, Islamic State (IS) militants have burned an Iraqi Christian woman to death.
Sa’ed Mamuzini, representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) office in Mosul, told BasNews on Tuesday that the militants burned the 80-year-old Iraqi Christian woman, who was from Kremlis in the Nimrud area of the Hamdaneya sub district, east of Mosul.
Mamuzini said that villagers told him that the woman was killed for failing to comply with the strict laws of the Islamic State.

These atrocities are being done by ISIS not only to strike fear and compliance into their enemies, but for the psychological effect it has on their own soldiers. ISIS soldiers know surrender is not an option. If they are captured by their aggrieved enemies, they know they will not be treated well. A desperate soldier who refuses to surrender is a much more effective fighter.
Although a .38 might have a little too much recoil for an 80 year old woman. Perhaps a .22 would suffice.
I wonder if Obama watches videos of ISIS atrocities against Christians for entertainment?

I have always wondered about the reference to carry a sword and then have the rest of the references be so disproportionate to being passive. I believe we have a choice, to use it or not. He said that those who live by the sword will die by the sword, and this is confirmed in Revelation. His choice was to lay down His life voluntarily. But why would he allow a sword to be present at His arrest? I believe it brought Him hope because it reminded Him of the time when He returns to rule the world and then He will give the command for His armies to use their swords. It will be soon, and there will be no previous coming.
I pray for the courage to pick off many of those who would try to enforce Sharia here. The only good Muslim is a...never mind; don't want to suspended or banned.
