Historically, the Bible is a Catholic book. The New Testament was written, copied, and collected by Catholic Christians. The official canon of the books of the Bible was authoritatively determined by the Catholic Church in the fourth century. Thus, it is from the Catholic Church that the Protestants have a Bible at all.

Sounds a bit, shall we say; arrogant.
Your Catholic church was teaching all kinds of error by the time John wrote what was REVEALED to him by the angel.
if you fall from Grace through Mortal sin that is where Reconciliation comes in CONFESSION.
Oh?
2 Corinthians 5:17-20
17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
18. All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19. that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20. We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
Outside the web site and blog , this is pretty much it, thank God i even could do that. Maybe i should go thru responses here and choose select ones, but which takes mental energy i now lack.
Those who are seekers of truth and objective, will read this type of material and realize they were lied to. Those who are content to shout the slogans they learned will breeze right past it without interacting.
There have been a lot of unanswered questions and posts, but thank God for evident Truth. .
Simply because you had engaged in the debate. Hope you did not mind.
Joseph Smith saw what he wanted, or wrote what he claimed to do, and likewise RCs see what they want.
No, not at all, I was just surprised to find myself listed in such a distinguished group.

The "Reformation" that started by denying the power of the Holy Spirit by throwing books out of the Bible because the Holy Spirit was wrong to allow them to be included in and accepted as Holy Scripture for over fifteen hundred years.
That's not a "Reformation", it's a denial of both the Holy Spirit and the Trinity that replaced the Holy Spirit with Self and Self Alone, something that Scripture calls elevating man above God along with blaspheming the Holy Spirit which Scripture explicitly states cannot be forgiven in this life or the next.
People claiming to live by faith alone after starting out by stating they have no faith in the Holy Spirit are just sad lost sheep under a powerful delusion.
As long as they defend that delusion thinking they're doing the right thing rather than getting on their knees and begging for the Grace to study the Scriptures without their blinders (including the books they threw out because they claim Holy Spirit couldn't and didn't protect His Word from error) they're on the road to their own destruction.
have a nice day
Sorry - many Protestants maintained all of the books of the Bible. Please, do not generalize. Your bitterness is showing. Grace takes the place of legalizum - that is the root of the Protestant reformation. Surly, you can agree with that!
ROTFLMAO . . .
Sure, the same ones who believe in prayers for the dead and Purgatory, totally reject all the "once saved, always saved" trash, and rush to straighten out their fellow protestants who are spewing helpless predestination garbage because it's so clearly contrary to Scripture.
Thanks for the laugh, especially that "legalism" bit thrown in to reject what Christ Himself taught.
