What a surprise, they just called me in and said they had eliminated my position, after almost ten years too.

That doesn’t sound crazy. God has been working on me over the years and if anything has shown me that it is foolish, NOT to trust Him.
The last few jobs have found me so my biggest concern is being very rusty in that area, anyway I am sure that His plan is better than mine.
Again I want to Thank everyone for their prayers and know that I am praying for each of your personal intentions as well.

My son has been unemployed for 2 yrs. Every where he goes there are many, many people looking for work. He’s been getting by on day labor roofing, computer repairing & God’s mercy & grace. They reluctantly had to turn to food stamps last month, but it seems to have made his burden heavier.

Keep in mind that the guy who is going to hire you has probably been fired before and definitely has a number of close friends who have been fired/laid off. Being fired is no big deal to a future employer.
86 responses and still not a word about what u do or can do for a living. Reminds me of the old joke about the guy waiting for god to save him while the floodwaters keep rising.

I’m sorry man, getting laid off for me was usually like getting whacked in a mob movie, I never saw it coming.
Prayers up. Been there many times and survived two hard economic depressions. Hope you have family to help out, and that something arrives to assist you getting back on your feet.
Never give up and as pretty much all of has at some time, keep on keeping on.

I have been developing software in one fashion or another for about 30 years.
I had no clue this was comming so I haven’t even started shaking the trees yet.
If I see a helicopter I’ll be sure to catch a ride.
