Muslim Prayers In Church of England Parish Clergy accuse vicar of holding illegal Islamic prayer service in landmark London church
By John Bingham
13 Mar 2015 A Church of England vicar is facing a storm of protest from traditionalist Christians after allowing a Muslim prayer service to be held in his church. Dozens of Muslims took part in the Inclusive Mosque event at St Johns church, Waterloo in central London, in what is thought to have been the first time a full Islamic prayer service has been held within the Church of England.
The vicar, the Rev Canon Giles Goddard, a prominent liberal cleric, joined in the event, reading a passage from the Bible and inviting the congregation to give thanks to the God that we love, Allah. Canon Goddard, described the service, on Saturday, as very moving and said it was simply an expression of the churchs desire to offer people a place to pray.
But evangelical clerics were angered by the service which they said marked a breach with canon law which forbids any variation from the official liturgy if it contains any departure from, the doctrine of the Church of England in any essential matter.
It was also offensive to Christians being persecuted for their faith around the world, they said.

WATERLOO,?? WHAT a Strange coincidence that eh?
This putz, Goddard might as well have held the Black Mass.
Nana sighs, shakes head slowly back and forth...
Soooooo.....will they allow this priest come to their mosque and perform christian services and prayers there?
It’s not as if Muslims are killing Christians in other parts of the world or anything.
Anglicans Catholics Lutherans Calvinists Jews Greek Orthodox Baptists and many more all pray to the one true God of the a Bible. Islam prays to the enemy. Islam does NOT belong in any church of any denomination or confession!
I read somewhere that once a muslim service has been held in a consecrated church it is deemed by muslims to no longer be a church, but a de facto mosque. I don’t know if it’s true or not..
The muzzies will put that church on their list of unredeemed mosques. Once prayed in, it’s theirs.
They still want Cordoba Cathedral back after 1,000 years as a Christian church. In fact, muzzies want all of Spain (al-Andalus) back, too.
Muzzies want the land of Israel back, too. They’ve already redrawn the maps that now show nothing but a Greater Palestine.
He's in for a surprise.

I have heard the same thing and wondered the same thing. When I heard there had been a prayer service at the Washington National Cathedral, does that mean the Washington National Cathedral is now a mosque?http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3227470/posts
Regarding the service at the English church, I wonder what the queen had to say about this. As the head of the Church of England, wouldn’t she have been consulted?

(((
I wonder how many other satan-worshiping groups he will allow in.
I’m not the least bit surprised the CoE “Canon” did this. The weed of heresy always bears bitter fruit!
Apparently he thinks you have to be in a special place in order to pray. Very strange. Maybe he thinks that God didn’t make the WHOLE world, just part of it.
“I am the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not have strange gods before Me.” That “strange god” came roaring out of the Arabian desert in ca. 632 AD. The author of the First Commandment didn’t leave a whole lot of wiggle room.
Islam must be destroyed.
