Well, I stopped watching after episode 4. It was awful. The real story is so much more intriguing and fun.
Well, for dramatization purposes, I understand why the producers had to compress certain timelines and eliminate others. And to be fair, it wasn’t presented as a documentary but as historical fiction. However, I believe it presents a consistently distorted vision of the War of the Roses in favor of a salacious tale of intrigue, ambition, and treachery. Not that those weren’t all components of the conflict, but I doubt they were quite so clearly defined. There was plenty of backstabbing, dealmaking, and philandering to go around.
