The fact that the phrase "born again" appears in the gospel does not prove that St. John meant the subjective "born again" experience that many modern Christians mean by it. I have heard people argue that "welfare" is mandated by the Constitution because the phrase "general welfare" occurs in the Constitution.

That has to be about the weakest argument I've seen on this board in a while.

Amazing the way the haters on here question the knowledge of Christian theology of a Catholic priest. Wonder who has the most former training and advanced levels of education in the field. But then again, there are the haters on here that think they know more about Christianity than Fulton Sheen and John Henry Newman. So why should I be surprised.
