Hubris like that is always wrong.

Bennett is a joke.
I watched the one with the former Catholic/ former knight of Columbus. As a 4th Degree Knight I can tell you he didn’t know anything about the degrees or ceremonies surrounding them. Why should i take his word for anything? Should I believe the failings of a man based on the testimony of his ex-wife?

I can assure you that a statement purporting to speak for all those on FR is ALWAYS wrong.

Finally, I begin to understand where you're coming from.

I’m convinced that the progressive liberals have their origins in the Catholic Church.

You mean like the prots that Ordain women, support abortion and gay Marriage.

“The word is found in scripture 34 times. Now you want to twist what was said?”

No, I’m not twisting anything. You are. The word “Bible” - which is a proper noun - appears NO WHERE IN SCRIPTURE. It never has. It never will. Even the examples you posted clearly are not “Bible”. What part of that do you not understand? If Bible was in the Bible you would be able to show me a passage that actually says Bible. You can’t show a single one. Not one.

Leviticus?

““If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbor, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”

so when do we get started?

Ignorance of the origin of the word bible is rather juvenile.

Richard warns Catholics because he has a great love for them and he knows they have been duped. That’s no joke! Ignore him at your own peril. He has helped many people see and understand the dangers of Rome, but more importantly, the truth of the gospel and the way of salvation.

Here’s a link to John MacArthur’s eight part series “The Heresy of Catholicism.”

I appreciate Catholic FReepers for continually providing opportunities to counter the Roman system.

>>What?...not up for stoning adulterers to death?<<

When you get into the New Testament and the New Covenant we can talk.

BTW The language you used in that post is not allowed in the religion forum and reflects rather poorly on those who use it.

“Ignorance of the origin of the word bible is rather juvenile.”

I know about the origin of the word. I also know that it is a proper noun. If someone pretends that a proper noun isn’t a proper noun, that’s worse than juvenile. It’s deceitful.

>>I know about the origin of the word. I also know that it is a proper noun.<<

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book (βιβλία - biblia - NOUN) was opened, which is the book (βιβλία - biblia - NOUN) of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books (βιβλία - biblia - NOUN), according to their works.
