Those who believe in some religion or mere mortal man like the POPE for their salvation is Already dammed.
Salvation is in only one name, and one name only, in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and his blood.
Even Islam is dammed and from the pit of hell.

Catholic means universal.
So, there are those who are part of the Catholic church, the religious organization.
Then there are those who belong to the universal body of Christ.

I am a Cultural Catholic....Lapsed Catholic is another word. I like the traditional Catholic Mass, and loathe the current , guitar filled, shake hands with the guy next to me (the one with poor hygiene), Vatican 2 Mass.
That is not the reason I lapsed. That goes much deeper. Back to the First Council of Nicea. Politics and Canon and large organizations and the discarding of dozens of ‘gospels’ in AD 325. The Church is edited. I want the Director’s Cut.
The men who interpret the written rules can damn me to hell all they want. Only one Supreme Being can make that decision.
The exclusivity of the one, holy Christian and Apostolic Church does not sit well with the world. We know by faith that the Church is outwardly manifest in many ways, yet ultimately stands or falls on the One Man whose flesh, crucifixion, death, and resurrection avail before God as our righteousness, namely Christ Jesus. I take the title of this piece to be referring to the universal (catholic) Church as opposed to the Roman Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church was founded by Jesus. It follows Jesus’ teachings. The Catholic Church does not believe anyone is damned. No priest in standing with the Church would nor could ever say this

That is the truth. I will sign off and not check, but I refer all flame red condemning me for ruining their hate party to google the catechism and ask the simple question are people damned for not embracing the Church
And any Catholic, clergy, lay, following outside the Catechism is heretical. So no saying I know a catholic who says blah blah blah

Ok, I was was just trying to be a little flippant. I assumed perhaps incorrectly that the post was implying when it stated Whoever does not embrace the Catholic Christian religion will be damned that non-Catholic Christain are damned. If that's not the case then I stand corrected. If that is the case the person that believes that is not well, and an idiot, and perhaps a cultist.
