I have no problem with evolution, we do not know the methodology God used to create the world. We do know He exists out of time, since time and/or entropy is His invention. Science has taught us that time is not quite the constant thing it appears to us to be in fact.
One thing I do know, you get too smarty-pants and try to limit acceptable methodologies by the Almighty and you will be in for a learning experience.
When Abraham and his wife agreed that conception would be impossible for them because Sarah was old, God proved them wrong. Sure, it “broke the rules”, but they were His rules and He knows them better than we do. The healings and miracles in the New Testament, likewise, oh ye of little faith.
This is not a matter of expressing your “faith” by imposing your conception of what is written in the Bible on reality, this is a matter of letting God do the leading and teaching, and trusting Him.
