Sounds like it. Kicked out of high school, all he wanted to do was “rock”. The band he joined at a Christian school went from cover band to Christian rock band.
Article says he’s been an avowed atheist since 2007.
“Now” seems to be a relative term.
And it would seem he’s a fundamentalist atheist these days pushing HIS faith in the face of others with hostile claims of hypocrisy. “C’mon, covert to MY way of thinking! I ‘science’, dude!”
I’m afraid that there are many, many people who claim to be Christians - even sincerely - and who do not know Christ (as the Bible states). The power of relgious seduction cannot be overstated and people (meaning true believers) need to get themselves free of ‘religion’ by going straight to the Word and God in prayer. Let somebody or something come between you and the power of the Spirit in the Word, and all bets are off.
That came through loud and clear from his comments in the article.
