These stories have as much validity as most religious stories. And I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way.

Whenever I hear about someone I know dying, I often think, “They know all the answers now. I wish they could tell me.”

Because as soon as he left, she died.

What he is saying is that he had barely made his way to the garage to go home, and she was dead.

What scam are they perpetrating?

Its not like they want you to pay for THEM to get the dead to come back.

You are a good person for taking care of her.

Sometimes, they just die. No drama, nothing religious, just nothing.

Peaceful and painless is the best we can hope for.

You do not need confirmation that you are doing the right thing, because you know in your heart that you are.

The scam of claiming they have been to heaven or know what it is like to be dead etc... And they want us to pay them to hear their stories.

Worse, often he stories are contradictory to the gospel.

Well, they rarely suggest they know what it is like to be dead. Because if they were dead, they would not have come back.

There are literally thousands of these stories on line. Don’t have to pay a nickel for them. These stories have been around, in one form or another, forever.

The problem with any blind belief in any religion is that it eliminates the possibility for something that was left out and/or lost in translation.

I absolutely respect your beliefs and your adherence to the gospels.

But, if we listened to the folks who stood at the sidelines and wanted to restrict our exploration of the world we would never have gotten to the moon.

It is possible to read these stories and consider them in context of the religious message of your choice.

“Because if they were dead, they would not have come back.”

That is actually a point i have been making

The bigger issue is the utterly pseudoscientific nature of the claims.

Did you even read this article?

Yes. I read this articles and many others like it.

I am not accepting this all on its face. I tend to agree that it seems more like a system shut down process than it does an afterlife.

I also agree there is no scientific proof other than observation.

Of course, most scientific breakthroughs in history came after observations.

I would just ask someone who disagrees with the religious aspect of it to give it some time before dismissing it out of hand. We can let the psyche community work this out and still retain our beliefs.

“Guilty” ..???????

Why on earth would I be “making” you feel guilty of anything ..??

If you FEEL guilty .. that’s your problem.

“I would just ask someone who disagrees with the religious aspect of it to give it some time before dismissing it out of hand.”

Why?

“We can let the psyche community work this out and still retain our beliefs.”

That has happened. This social phenomenon has been around and studied for decades.

Nothing has come of it.

I guess you are right.

Let’s go make fun of them.

Just kidding.

It’s fun to read. Kind of sets them up for a disappointment if it’s simply the way the lights are shut off.

So, I’m wondering what you seem to think I’m protesting?

These are not only real, they happen to me all the time.

There is a lot more to this topic than most people realize.

There really is no such thing as”Death” except for the physical body. The soul is perpetual and cannot be destroyed, even if an atomic bomb were dropped directly on a person’s head.

I’m in the same boat with my 96 year old mother. She talks to people on the other side all the time. Sometimes she does imagine people, based upon her past memories.

It’s not difficult to tell the difference between when it is just imagination and when it is a real spirit present in the room. The goose bumps on both arms and hair standing on end are real good indicators. I can usually communicate with them. Thought forms have a much less dynamic energy.

I held my father’s hand when he died and passed with him into the light. The profound Love is beyond words. I do this by helping people pass over every chance I get, but they still won’t allow me to stay there. Really hurts to come back here and experience this reality again... No.. I don’t do drugs!! I frequently work with stage 4 cancer patients helping them to prepare for death.

Often I see the deceased attending their own funeral services. They are guided over about the time the personal testimonials take place in the service as these emotional sharings tend to anchor the soul to this realm.

It sure does make sense. Children radiate so much Love that when their soul departs it leave a real big void.
