1. I’m sure the Religion Moderator will forgive you.
2. Don’t you know that all Moderators live in Hawaii in a villa on the beach?
It’s 5 hours earlier then Eastern time.
3. Merry Christmas
4. Excuse me, I have to work on my tan.

=============================================

1. Ya think so? I dunno. I don't think I'm a favorite of his, by ANY means.

2. Lol. All the beaches are PUBLIC and cannot be used for private homes. Why do I know that? I really, really, really wanted a home on the beach. The best you can get is across the street from the beach...and that's a good thing because "king" tides occurs sometimes and beach front homes become houseboats, so to speak.

3. A BLESSED and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

4. Wear the sun block ESPECIALLY for your face...if you're a baldie, spread it on the skin up there too. :o)

*****Hawaiian Merry Christmas: Mele Kalikimaka!!

Why do these dudes get to post hourly threads that show up under the Latest Articles basically berated non-Catholics as heretics for not believing in the perpetual virginity of Mary, blah, blah, blah and yet no one can counter their claims with scripture? Why are they a protected class? Why doesn’t their drivel just show up to those in their caucus where no one else can see it? So, they are free to offend but we just have to smile and give them a pass.

If you do not wish to see Religion Forum posts, do NOT use the “everything” option on the Free Republic browse option list. Instead, browse by “News/Activism.” When you log back in, the browse will reset to “everything” - so be sure to set it back to “News/Activism.”

Your post is making it personal and needling a poster who can no longer post on the thread.

Caucus designations are not to be used to make comments about those that can not respond.

Your post will be removed.

It really inspires me to go full on Blessed Mother mode! : )

AMEN!

How wonderful to hear her praised! And what beautiful words and detail in the Akathist! Things about Our Lady I never thought of- the 6 th part, referring to Mary in the light of the Exodus was especially lovely.

I am glad that the caucus designation is to be adhered to.
That is why I responded. Why would I send someone a message who couldn't answer back?

“Why would I send someone a message who couldn’t answer back?”

You didn’t.
That was part of the problem because you mentioned the poster, who wasn’t “pinged”-— and were needling him/her-— who would not see it unless he/she continued to read the thread.

And was of course not able to make a defense because the poster was not a member of the caucus.

Post #44 was restored so you could see what you posted.

You should see that it doesn’t adhere to the caucus designation rules.

If you wish to leave it on the thread, please notify me so we can remove the caucus label and the restore the posts deemed unacceptable as it will then be an open thread.

I didn't even really understand the entire idea of the "Catholic-only" caucus threads anyway. I had always thought that all the threads were open to whomever wanted to post and respond.
I don't remember those "caucus designation rules" when I first joined a long time ago. I just knew TOPICS. I will be very careful now with my comment-posting and try, for MY sake, to keep it VERY simple.

Thanks for your patience.

I often wonder, and this is purely my own speculation, when Simeon told Our Lady her heart would be pierced by a sword, so that the thoughts of many would be revealed, I ponder two of my own questions:

Since Jesus received the Most Holy Wound of His Side, from which blood and water poured forth as a Fount of Mercy for us, He was already dead; thus this Wound would not have been painful to Him. It would have to His Holy Mother, however, after watching her Son suffer and die, to see His Body further mutilated. Would that not also then have been her wound?

Next, what are those thoughts revealed? Could it be th Sacrament of Confession, one of God's greatest mercies? Just my thoughts, not Church teaching!
