Y’all just can’t decide if you like Luther or not, now can you?
If he is pro-Mary he is great.
If he is pro-Sola Gratia you can’t stand him.
Luther was a Catholic. None of Luther’s personal opinions about Mary passed scriptural muster and as a result, none appear in any of the confessional documents of Lutheranism. Because Confessional Lutherans worship and serve God, not a man, not even one so mightily used by God as Luther.
