Prayer request for my Dad

Dad is going in to the hospital tomorrow for treatment of atrial fibrillation. They are going to try to shock his heart back into rhythm. If that doesn't work it's a pacemaker.
Dad is 87, an Army Vet, wounded in an explosion in 1946 in the Phillipines while the US was supporting the Phillipine gov't during the Huk rebellion after WW2 .
Mom and my sisters are upset.
He's the most honorable man I've ever met and he and Mom are my best friends. They've been married 64 yrs.

Will do. The situation sounds very similar to what we went throuqh with my Dad last year. He now has a pacemaker and is doinq much better. I’ll be prayinq for health and peace for all of you.

Sorry to hear of your father’s trouble. By chance does he suffer from sleep apnea? I’ve heard of several people reversing a-fib by being treated for sleep apnea lately. Check into it.

O Lord, we agree together in prayer as we lift up Eagles6’s father to you. We ask you, dear Father, to touch this man, this husband, father and friend. Please grant him more time on earth with his loved ones. Raise him to health, we beseech you, so he may once again be the leader of his family and walk in strength. We love you, Lord God, no matter what happens, and we trust that your plan is best. Even so, please consider our request for relief for this good man. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
