“You can’t go to a single even remotely religious thread without seeing it turn into a Catholic versus Protestant fight”

That’s because protestants have had an inferiority complex for the last 500 years.

Nope. Never, ever had an inferiority thought. I am a Christian through believing Jesus and His Word. Never met anyone who did. Wistful thinking on your part.

Hahahahahaaaaaa! Any brother or sister in Christ can boast of a SUPERIORITY complex, unlike the Romists who can only hope to survive their imaginary Purgatory. Paul wrote much to the Roman Church (not to be confused with the Roman CATHOLIC cult!)

Romans 5: 5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

I don’t see it that way, watching what unfolds on FR.

Ah, what a humble, loving attitude you have for your “separated brethren”. Don’t hide that light under a bushel NKP_Vet!

Is that why there are so many FRoman Catholic posted threads bashing "Protestants", because it's the Protestants than feel inferior??? You must be joking!

I think it's because some Roman Catholics feel inferior when their sacred invented dogmas and accursed gospel gets challenged along with their open resentment towards non-Catholic Christians who joyfully claim our assurance of eternal salvation secure in Christ by faith. What is there to feel inferior about when you are a blood-bought child of Almighty God?

It just seems that way from the smug and arrogant side of the fence.

Actually that was not my quote you are responding to, while it is RCs who quite evidently seem to feel the need to constantly repeat propaganda, as if to comfort themselves that their fantasy is true.

Despite your imaginative assertion that "Catholics never belittle or challenge beliefs from protestants."

Either its an inferiority complex or narcissism: take your pick, as the propaganda certainly has been exposed as being so.
