LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Kentucky Baptists on Tuesday chose to sever ties with a Louisville church that is open to performing same-sex marriages.
Baptist leaders from around the state gathering in Bowling Green for the Kentucky Baptist Convention's annual meeting voted overwhelmingly to end their longstanding relationship with Crescent Hill Baptist Church. The church's pastor, the Rev. Jason Crosby, has said the church is open to performing same-sex marriages and ordaining gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual members.

Gay friendly? This is outright endorsement of the sin!
God bless the Kentucky Baptists!
Sounds like they booted an unbiblical church.
Carrie Underwood said that she attends a gay-friendly Baptist church.
I thought, “there is such a thing?”
The proper response to a deplorable church.

I believe it is the American Baptist Church that is quite liberal. There are no doubt some rouge Southern Baptist churches.
There fixed it!
Gay, my ars.
Appears they have a female pastor and she does some of the preaching there.
good job KBC!
God bless Kentucky Christians for complying with Jesus teaching of Matthew 18:15-17 which is reflected in 1 Corithians 5.
The proper response to an apostate, hell-bound congregation.
Gays won’t get into the Kingdom of Heaven to be kicked out, so what is the point of letting them be deceived into thinking they will? Of course, that probably isn’t the reason they are interested in polluting churches with their sin. Most have had traumatic experiences from being abused by pedophiles to doing disgusting things they are ashamed of, and membership in a church gives them a sense of acceptance that they didn’t get with family and community. And then a lot of gays are eager to get revenge on straight people by dirtying our institutions.
Smart move...
When dealing with sinners of all kinds, Jesus pronounced his forgiveness of their sin and told them, “Go, and sin no more.” Militant homosexuals insist that they have the right to live their sinful lifestyle, so they are not forgiven and cannot enter the holiness of Heaven.
Good for this Baptist convention!
As Christians you can stand on the Word of God or you can stand on the word of human beings. This Church chose God.
Would Jesus have performed a ceremony marrying two men? Two Women? NO.
Well at our church the Pastor says that as long as a homosexual wants to come and hear the message they are as welcome as everyone else. They cannot come as a couple holding hands or any other outward show of affection. They cannot be a member and they cannot create a disturbance.
That sounds like a challenge... I expect your church to make national news as it becomes center stage for a confrontational "queer in".
