Oh just stuff it. You have your beliefs and I have mine.
Nonsense.
When it comes to the teaching of the Catholic Church, that is precisely what is NOT true. I do NOT have my beliefs and you do NOT have yours. There is the teaching of the Church, and that is all.
There is absolutely NO basis in the teaching of the Catholic Church for the pious, but superstitious, belief that the Conclave enjoys anything analogous to infallibility.
The Church’s, and the Pope’s, infallibility is concerned only with the content of the dogmas of the Church and the content of the Church’s moral teaching. It absolutely does not extend to acts of governance, or to practical decisions of any person or body.
The Pope is the Pope. He exercises authority in the Church. His authority comes from the fact that he is Bishop of Rome.
It does NOT stem from the “fact” that the Conclave was directed by the Holy Spirit to pick the “right man,” the “best man,” or “the man God wanted.”
Lol. Amen.
Do you realize that you're addressing a PRIEST??????
