I agree MadMax, but I have seen many well read, true Christians who always bring up “Render to Caesar” or what Paul did.
I say if the Bible really means we have to “Render to Caesar” then our Country’s birth is a sham because after taking it, taking it, our Forefathers finally decided not to Render anymore.
Maybe the judges just figure, “if I do this, I’m going to hell”. There reasoning could be that simple.
There is no “newly passed North Carolina marriage law,” only a federal court decision overthrowing a state constitutional amendment, which passed by popular referendum, upholding traditional marriage.
I quit being a heathen when I got saved.
I quit the public school system when I decided to homeschool my kids.
I quit being a Democrat the minute my pastor told me that Christians are usually Republicans.
I could go on.
Check the map of North Carolina, I know that Graham county that is mentioned is getting close if not in the area where the Smokey Mountains are, maybe that Blue Ridge Parkway is there too. I don’t know the area well but I have been there. Beautiful.

Correct, they should have tested the coercion through the courts. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...”
I quit watching the Cowboy’s game after that 4th qrtr interception, when they were already trailing by 11...
There is no "good fight" in this particular arena. They could have refused, given their reasons, and they would have been summarily fired, their reputations ruined, called viscious names in the media and sued by the homosexuals. The South and these judges were chosen because they were religious men living in an area of the country that is still God believers. This is an organized campaign and these judges are just the latest casualties.
We have no first amendment rights anymore on this particular subject. We also have no freedom to practice our religion if it interferes in any way with the homosexual agenda. That is where we stand. I wouldn't of believed it 10 years ago; but, here it is.
Honorable conduct, but they will be replaced by Dem judicial operatives, further polluting the judiciary.

Reading the article, it looks like some judges in fact are going to defy the order:
“While these magistrates are just six of the 670 county magistrates that serve in North Carolina, other Christian judges who haven’t resigned have indicated that they will simply not conduct the same-sex marriages as required by law, which could lead to their dismissal.”
Finally. Someone demonstrates their faith and integrity.
