You need to take a look at how Jewish priests dressed during the time of Jesus. But do me a favor, don’t reply to this post. I’m tired of the utter stupity on these forums.
You need to take a look at how Jesus and His disciples dressed during the time of Jesus.

However, it's ironic when someone complains about "stupity" when they can't spell "stupidity." It seems to go back to that whole "dust mote vs plank" argument.
Does that mean I then should dress as the population did then as well?
Jesus is the great High Priest now and did away with the Priesthood....the New Covenant changed all that as He took His office over us all. ...He removed the curtain of the Jewish Priesthood who only had admittance before Him.....now 'all' can come directly to God through His son Jesus.... And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.... 'At that moment'... the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom........ (Matthew 27:50-51
God was through with that temple 'and its religious system',... the temple and Jerusalem were left desolate (destroyed by the Romans) in A.D. 70, just as Jesus prophesied in Luke 13..." Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord."
As long as the temple stood, it signified the continuation of 'the Old Covenant'. As is written...."By calling this covenant new, he has made the first one 'obsolete' and 'outdated'...Hebrew 8

Yet here you are.
Bye
Exactly like the Catholic honchos do today; right?
After all; I recall nothing printed in red that CHANGED the clothing; do you?
Well, then, maybe you should stop posting stupid threads!
And yet, here you are, in the thick of it......
