There is no scripture supporting pre-trib rapture.

Who are all these believers in the great tribulation (Jacob’s trouble) if they have all been removed from earth?

Pre-trib rapture would mean Jesus returns a second time, yet there is no scripture that says Jesus returns more than once.

I always figured they were the converts of the 2 witnesses. The last 3 1/2 years are called the time of Jacobs trouble, not the Church's trouble. Jesus died to save us from God's wrath. Revelation 1-3 the letters to the Church give what seem to be an overview of Chruch history. After Revelation 4:1 when John said: “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither...”

After this point, the Church is not mentioned on earth during the book of Revelation. I suspect when we hear the sound of the trumpet it will say to us come up hither.

I Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”

It reminds one of the problem the Pharisees had, they knew that the Messiah had to fulfill certain prophecies. So when he didn't come in to set things right and set up his Kingdom as foretold they rejected him. They didn't realize they were two comings of their Messiah.

Jesus doesn't return at the rapture. We meet Him in the air.
