Who are all these believers in the great tribulation (Jacob’s trouble) if they have all been removed from earth?

I always figured they were the converts of the 2 witnesses. The last 3 1/2 years are called the time of Jacobs trouble, not the Church's trouble. Jesus died to save us from God's wrath. Revelation 1-3 the letters to the Church give what seem to be an overview of Chruch history. After Revelation 4:1 when John said: “After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither...”

After this point, the Church is not mentioned on earth during the book of Revelation. I suspect when we hear the sound of the trumpet it will say to us come up hither.

I Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”

.
Not so!

The tribulation of Yehova’s saints by Satan is right there to read about, until the last trump, the end of the trib, when the elect are resurrected. Then the wrath of Yehova begins, after Satan’s last hurrah, the trib, is over.

15 “So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short. Mtt. Mat. 24:15-22

For who’s sake will those days be cut short? The elect! Us in Christ! If the elect were not here on earth the days would not have to be cut short. Jeremiah’s prophecy of Jacob’s (Israel’s) trouble coincides with the great tribulation.
