I have read all of 1 Corinthians and it does not say that Jesus comes twice. It simply says that there are 3 resurrections. Jesus alone is one. Then there are 2 other resurrections of those in the kingdom. The first resurrection at His return and then the second when death (His last enemy) is defeated and He is totally victorious bringing His kingdom to the Father.

The first and second resurrection of those in the kingdom is also defined in Revelation 20. The first resurrection specifically defined as those who are martyred during the tribulation and who reign with Him during His reign on earth. And the “rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION.” [all caps mine]

If Revelation says the first resurrection is those who died during the tribulation, who am I to argue? The rest of the dead are resurrected at the LAST trumpet before God destroys the world, when the whole kingdom is given to God to be with Him for eternity in the new heaven and new earth.

That is the unadulterated Word of God. Nothing spliced, nothing ignored, nothing added. Simple.

It is not the Word that is in question. It is your twisting of it to make it say what you want it to say instead of what it says and means. Like I said dude, we are done. No more responses. Rap all you like, you are wrong. Period. End of conversation. AND, I have such Bible experts as Dr. Tim LaHay, Dr. David Jeremiah, Dr. Charles Stanley, Hal Lindsey, Dr. Mark Hitchcock, Dr. Ed Hindson, Dr. David Reagan, Pastor Gary Stearman, Dr. Robert Jeffress, Jack Kelley, the late Grant Jeffreys, Donald Perkins, etc. ALL HAVE THE SAME BELIEFS AS I DO. So, I believe what I read, and what they say a WHOLE heck of a lot more than your wrong beliefs. Simple as that dude, you are wrong, dead wrong. The Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ will come before the AntiChrist appears. If you are hoping to see him, or if you think you have to be purified by the Tribulation to be Saved, then you don’t think much of what the LORD Jesus Christ did on the Cross. Like I said, go away. I’m done with this post.

No, that is not even close to what it says.

The first resurrection is the resurrection of his elect, at the last trump, the beginning of his millennial reign. The rest are not resurrected until the end of the 1000 year reign, at the resurrection unto judgment.

Those in the second resurrection are not of his kingdom.

Revelation 20 makes it clear that there is a 1000 year span between the two. You apparently misread John’s statement that those resurrected to judgment wait 1000 years after the last trump, which is the first resurrection.

What Paul is pointing out to the Corinthians, and the Thessalonians, is that there is no rapture before Satan’s 3.5 year tribulation. The “Man of Sin” must be revealed first!
