[It] may be that the Oklahoma City satanists, who call themselves the Dakhma Angra Mainyu, believe that the black mass they're holding on Sunday, Sept. 21, at the Oklahoma City Civic Center, is harmless fun, or a deliberate insult to Catholics (since the "black mass" is a perverted parody of the Catholic Mass), or even a serious attempt to call upon dark forces.
But according to the beliefs of a priest from the neighboring Diocese of Tulsa, both those putting on the event and those attending--this year's event has sold out all 88 tickets--may be in spiritual peril.
Monsignor Patrick Brankin is worried.
Msgr. Brankin, the official exorcist for his diocese for the last four years, said, "I am profoundly relieved that this group has returned to Archbishop Coakley the Consecrated Host which they intended to desecrate, but am still concerned that they have not backed away from all the other blasphemies and sacrileges involved in this ritual worship of Satan."
As for the attendees, Brankin said,"They promise to do an exorcism of the Christians there, which, in their own foolish talk, involves puling out of the Holy Spirit. If someone went there out of curiosity, especially if there was a possibility that they were not in the state of grace, they could easily come out with a demonic attachment, whether it would be an oppression, obsession or a full possession."

After calling for "all Catholics as well as other Christians and people of good will" to come to St. Francis of Assisi on Sunday, Archbishop Coakley concluded with: "Finally, let us demonstrate our faith in the power of the Lord's grace by praying for the conversion of those who are perpetrating this sacrilege and are bound by the Evil One."

Wouldn't be at all surprised if demonic possession occurs. They're blespheming the Sacraments which Chirst gave to the Church and opening the doors of their soul: no reason the Spirit of Filth wouldn't ooze right in.

They had an "official" Act-UP day of aggression in Dec 1989 in which 4,000+ demonstratd outside, chanting, banging on drums and pelting worshippers entering the church with condoms; while 100 did the same inside; some desecrated hosts. There were arrests. Nobody went to jail. I don't know much more about it than that.
In one of the rabid threads on the alleged ‘consecrated host’ a FReeper posted the links between the organizers of the hoax black mass and Oklahoma City atheists. I say ‘alleged’ on the consecrated host thing because the Catholic church in the area only got custody of it due to civil litigation. No theft was ever proved nor were criminal charges laid against the hoaxers for stealing anything. They merely said they had something which they could have bought off the ‘net.
The Catholics are being played. This was never about a black mass, this was always about trolling the Catholics into reacting to to trolls.

That is the danger that these folks either don’t believe will happen, don’t care about happening, or they are doing it because it has already happened to some of those involved in organizing it.

Interesting story. I remember this atrocity as if it was yesterday. My one contact with Act Up was in the lobby of the Ford Foundation - the left wing think tank and one of the prettiest buildings in the city. For whatever reason, Ford ran afoul of Act Up so when they entered, they didn’t have access to the executive suite, so they descended upon the receptionist, tore her phone out, ripped up her day book and screamed bloody curses at her. One of the worst things I’ve seen outside of a film of a Bund meeting.

I must say I don't understand these things. I see huge internal contradictions. For instance the Sex Radicals derive great satisfaction from their claim that Catholics don't give a s**t what the dogmas of the Church are, they fornicate, contracept, rip up their babies, and bugger each other as much as anybody else (they have statistics! they can prove it!) --- and yet they shriek about the Catholic Church "dictating" to them about their sexlives and deathlives.
If nobody listens to Catholic doctrine; if Catholics themselves sin and grin with the biggest sinners & grinners -- then why do they care that the doctrines in the dusty un-read catechisms still say they are wrong? Why is Catholicism Public Enemy #1 if it is a toothless witless doddering fossil which nobody pays attention to anymore? It's like the Gheys getting all incensed because they would be reproved by Zeno of Citium.
After they have destroyed Theology, they will have to destroy Biology. Having banned Genesis, they'll have to ban Genetics. They will end up denying that our fellow large mammals were created male and female. They will end up ritually destroying their bodies, because their bodies reprove them.
Even if they are “pretending” in order to create opportunity for ridicule, if they should happen to mimic the black mass, it is fooling around with the occult. Not smart, to say the least.
Yes, that will be the end result of their pushing the envelope. No society has sanctioned what we have sanctioned and lasted more than 70-100 years! Given the quickness of technology and the onslaught of islam, we’re lucky if this sick society lasts 25 years. This, my America! I never would have believed it.
