Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Holy and Almighty God,
We praise Your Holy Name!
For You Alone are Worthy of Praise and Worship,
For You Are Glorious in Majesty!
You Alone Are The One True God.
Omniscient, Omnipotent, and Omnipresent,
Glorious in Majesty
Awesome and Fearsome in Power and Glory!
How Righteous, Holy, and Just You Are!

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

As always in our study of the Bible, we read the plain meaning of the text and consider it before delving into allegory or prophetic meaning. However, the comparison between this Passage in 1 Samuel about Blacksmithing, and Our Own Situation in America, struck a chord with me!

Some years ago, I needed a new toaster oven. I searched everywhere and could NOT find one made in the USA. I went without a toaster oven for a long time until I found a nearly new one at a yard sale for a dollar. It had still been "Made in China", but at least my money wasn't going there. The same has happened over the years with coffee-makers, vacuum cleaners, and electronics. My entire recording studio is made up of vintage parts that are from the era when the USA led the world in technology.

Household appliances and musical equipment aren't the real problem though. When planes crash because of cheap parts made in China, or cities are destroyed for lack of manufacturing jobs, it is bad enough, but when the very weapons that keep us safe and free are made by a nation whose government despises us, then we are in REAL trouble. By "outsourcing" the production of tools and weapons to the enemy, King Saul was setting his own people up for disaster.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Hallelujah and Amen
