I feel the same way. However, I've been doing an interesting study on the holiness of God. And what would you say is the difference btwn holiness and righteousness, and Godliness? We must go for all three.
One of the things that has been of great interest in this study is the fact that God delights in us far more than we delight in Him.
In Christ, thank God, but then you have the displeasure and warnings of Rv. 2+3. His good pleasure is that we be conformed to Christ practically in this life, not merely positionally, to which end He works unceasingly, thank God.

And what would you say is the difference btwn holiness and righteousness, and Godliness? Holiness is being set apart such as setting aside the Sabbath:
Gen_2:3 So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy,...
Righteousness is being blameless before others:
Gen_6:9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God.
Godliness is trying to live out our righteousness in trust and obedience:
Psa_86:2 Preserve my life, for I am godly; save your servant, who trusts in youyou are my God.
God sets us apart (holiness). God makes us walk with Him (righteousness). And God makes us trust in Him (godliness).
