It’s anyone’s guess how many potential entrepreneurial businesses were stopped before they started, since this deliberate insanity began being ratified by the courts. Not just the individuals themselves, but the jobs (direct and ripple-effect) and economic security that would’ve gone with them.

That was the family’s first mistake. Agreeing to go in front of a magistrate. You should always demand and get a jury trial. You have that right and cannot be refused. Magistrate’s are nothing burgers.

Privately owned businesses, Christian or otherwise, should be able to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, or no reason at all.
The idea the individuals are forced by the government to participate in rituals that are repugnant to their beliefs is just pure tyranny.
I suggest that if you are forced into this situation, DO A BAD JOB. Bitch, moan, complain the entire time. Be uncooperative, demanding, & late. BE UNPLEASANT. If it is a baker, bake a bad cake. A photographer, cut some heads off in the pics. If the customer complains, refund his money & be happy in the notion that you will not be seeing them or their friends again.
Before you raise possible lawsuit issues, remember that America is FULL of lousy businesses & contractors. They screw things up all the time. Few (former) customers have the time nor inclination to sue. In most cases it is a waste of time unless the money is big & the damages claimed are obvious.

I find myself thinking unchristian thoughts about this evil couple (homosexuality is sinful but not evil; however bullying and using the courts to trample the fundamental, God-given right to the free exercise of religion is among the most evil actions imaginable). I find myself worried that FedGov and many lower levels of government have lost all legitimacy. This will end well - The Book of Revelation says so - but getting there will be messy.
