From my reading it appears that the accounts of Adam and Eve and a global flood are meant to be taken literally; I'm just not certain how you get around a literal interpretation. OTOH some of the accounts in John's Revelation are from a vision, which leads me to view them differently.
Gungor mentions believing in the resurrection of Jesus but he denies a literal Noah. Jesus however said,”As it was in the days of Noah so shall it be in the Days of the coming of the Son of Man!”
If he believes in a literal Jesus( God in Flesh) , who cites the existence of Noah, then he must, to be consistent acknowledge that Noah also existed! To deny that Noah existed is to deny the words of Jesus!
