It used to be all or nothing: gay and an active sodomite or somehow convert into not having unnatural urges.

Here, they acknowledge God’s law, don’t do this particular sin, but don’t try to fake normal. They have a weakness for a given sin and don’t induldge in it.

Yep. A close friend of mine is an ex-alcoholic, but he won't allow me to to refer to him as such. He corrects me and says he is an alcoholic who no longer partakes.

He dumped the habit the Christian way.

He says serial adulterers, fornicators or homosexuals can do it the same way. It isn't easy, but it is well worth the effort.
