Yep. A close friend of mine is an ex-alcoholic, but he won't allow me to to refer to him as such. He corrects me and says he is an alcoholic who no longer partakes.

He dumped the habit the Christian way.

He says serial adulterers, fornicators or homosexuals can do it the same way. It isn't easy, but it is well worth the effort.

Everyone is tempted towards sexual sin. Even married people.

We have to decide if we are going to act on our temptations or live on the side of our better angel.

These celibate individuals have decided on the better angel. God bless them.
