The math doesn’t add up here.
It adds up because the distribution curve is different for men and for women. There are fewer women who will have sex with more than one man, so their average is lower. But of the women who will have sex with more than one man, they either have lefty delusions and see sex as a form of rebellion, or are abused, exploited and in that way prostituted. So only a relatively few women give out to multiple partners.
Men have less pressure and more indifference to whether they have uncommitted sex because they don't get pregnant and also because fewer men than women are religious. For men, it's more a matter of their opportunities among the women they associate with, unless they are able or willing to pay for it.
A small % of women who have sex with many more men than the average woman?

When that average gets above three you know the country is headed for the ditch. When it gets above six, you know the country is well stuck fast in the ditch.
Men who can't control their little head don't deserve women who can't keep their legs together and women know it. So, men get more active, women get more active, the country goes to crap.
Then you have unwed mothers and irresponsible fathers, "Mothers" using abortifacient contraceptives and may have had six kids they never knew were created, and "fathers" who don't even really have any idea how many children they've fathered.
People who "settle down" and get married to raise the few children of theirs they're aware of complain how tough it is to raise children when so many parents let their kids group up to be irresponsible scum.
Western civilization is dying from an overdose of Free Love and still ties off and loves the needle.

It can. Fewer females with a great many experiences that males. Different distribution statistics displaces the medians, but the area under each distribution is the same.
