Thanks for agreeing with me.
Amazing, a RC seems to deny lifting Mary up to the post of co-redemptress, and that the 2nd commandment forbids what RCs engage in, while she does not stray from the papal party line.
Of course, she did not make herself clear so we might see what she meant, but likewise one would have a hard time in Bible times explaining kneeling before a statue and praising the entity it represented in the unseen world, and as having Divine powers and glory, and making offerings and beseeching such for Heavenly help, directly accessed by mental prayer.
Moses, put down those rocks! I was only engaging in hyper dulia, not adoring her. Can't you tell the difference?
Once the human mind has accepted a powerful story - even though based on fiction - you will not convince them with logic, facts from scripture, nor evidence of any kind. They desperately cling to a falsehood rather than accept their understanding, life experience and cherished hopes are false.
In this instance, the pagan custom of praying to the dead and exalting poor humble Mary, and declaring some as “saints” while perverting the Biblical teaching of what “saint” means, will not end without God opening the eyes through conversion. All we can do is tell the truth in love.
The good news is that Roman Catholics are taught much that is true as a foundation.
