“If one reads the text in the Greek one would understand that your salvation is secure in Christ.”

The evidence is overwhelming that OSAS is a false doctrine. This is made abundantly clear in the Greek or in any reputable vernacular translation. Even many Protestant anti-Catholics realize that OSAS is bogus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCfDHrwSA0g

“In my opinion this is where all churches fail today by not using the original language to explain these very basic, yet most important, understandings of Christianity.”

OSAS is NOT a “very basic, yet most important, understanding of Christianity”. It’s a heresy, a fraud, a Protestant invention.

If you really believe this I hope you are living very near your priest so you can confess your sins on a daily, if not hourly, basis.

If, as according to the RCC, you commit a mortal sin and it's unconfessed to the priest, you do not go to Heaven. The real meaning: one would go to Hell.

However, Jesus promsies:

John 3:16-18

16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
