I don’t disagree with you as to what should be done.

My sole point is that I feel sorry for these kids. They went through Hell to get here and most will be returned to their previous Hell.

What Beck did was as Christian an act as one could hope to see and I commend him for it.

Sakic, I won’t commend him. Last night Hannity said that the invaders at the border are phoning their families back home, telling them, “Hey, they’re treating us great up here! Come on up!”

Beck with his truckloads of toys will serve to enable more of that. Giving the kids food, water, and shelter and sending them back to their parents is the Christian thing to do. Aiding and abetting lawbreaking is not.

Beck did the right and charitable thing. What Hannity says about anything is immaterial to me because he is pushing his own agenda and trying to act like what Beck did was somehow wrong.

It is never wrong to give comfort to children being used as pawns.

I have hated Hannity since the Abner Louima incident. Hannity was a despicable human being while that was going on. He had the father of the cop who raped Mr. Louima on his show throughout the trial and claimed that Louima was not attacked by the cops and that he had engaged in anal sex and was a homosexual. It was all based on lies and Hannity promoted the lies.

I later became friends with Louima and he was as gentle and sweet a man as I have ever met.

"Beck did the right and charitable thing. What Hannity says about anything is immaterial to me because he is pushing his own agenda and trying to act like what Beck did was somehow wrong."

Sakic, you're under a few misconceptions here.

I'm not a particular fan of Hannity myself, but I watched last night's episode in which he surveyed the border with Rick Perry. Hannity didn't mention Beck or his actions. He mentioned to a guest--I think it was a Texas rancher--that phone conversations among the illegals are being monitored. THAT is how they know these people are encouraging others to join the invasion and get in on some of the goodies and the wonderful treatment. Now, if you want to call the Border Patrol's findings immaterial, pushing an agenda, etc., I guess you can, but you would be going on pure foolish emotion.

No matter how warm and fuzzy you want to get about the situation, you can't deny facts. Making the situation seem like Christmas morning to these invaders is to our detriment; it is contributing to the collapse of the country.

Aid and comfort is defined as food, water, and temporary shelter until these people can be sent back.

That is all the aid and comfort I am advocating. I never said they should be allowed to stay. Beck did a good thing. Some are treating him like he is giving comfort to our enemies.

The kids are not the enemies.

"That is all the aid and comfort I am advocating"

Not true, according to your posts.

" I never said they should be allowed to stay. Beck did a good thing."

There you go. You just contradicted your last statement. Again.

" Some are treating him like he is giving comfort to our enemies."

You're learning.

"The kids are not the enemies."

I'm not going to go in circles with you any longer, sakic. You keep repeating the same memes, over and over, regardless of the facts that are laid in front of you. You're fueled by pure foolish emotion, nothing more.

Just like Beck.

>> Sure,it’s kind. However, being kind to those who participate in an organized invasion of your nation is called “giving aid and comfort to the enemy”.<<

>> Ship them back to their parents.

That is the Christian thing to do<<

Both of you are spot on.

I commend you, sir. You managed to take a story about something Glen Beck is doing and blame Catholics for it.

I know we get blamed for most of the worlds ails but you have succeeded in taking it to a whole other level.

Bravo!

Both of you are spot on.

And if their Parents are here illegally, ship the whole family back. The federal government is obliged to do this, as it is the law.

From a Christian perspective, God demands that if you are a guest in a foreign country, you are to obey that country's laws.

Our laws state in unequivocal terms, if you are here illegally, you are to leave or be deported.

So, once again, deport them, it is the Christian thing to do.

I didn’t blame Rome for Beck’s foolishness. I witnessed to Salvation, Mormons, and anyone else who believes a false gospel. Many who read this site are starved for the truth. Someone must sound the alarm so I sound it when opportunities present. There is nothing that concerns me more than the thought of people dying in the belief they are saved when they are not. I take the time because years ago someone cared enough to warn me and I’m eternally grateful.

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast .

You are running in circles by yourself. Stop chasing your tail. You’re seeing things that are not there.

"You are running in circles by yourself. Stop chasing your tail. You’re seeing things that are not there."

Doesn't look like it. Pretty much everyone objects to Beck's weepy, hyper-emotional enabling of lawbreaking, except for a few bleeding hearts like you.

Anyone who does not understand that the children are being used and are victims are trying to maintain a political agenda instead of using their ability to reason.

Beck’s hyperbole is irrelevant.

Yes, sakic, you keep repeating that, over and over. We know the children are victims.

But what does that change?

We cannot take in all the victims in the world. There's no room.

What, exactly, prevents you from understanding that simple truth? Can you explain?

What say you?

My grandfather came to these shores from another land with essentially nothing. He arrived through legal channels, worked, became a US Citizen, served in the US Navy, built a business, raised a family. He neither demanded nor accepted freebies, gimmedats, or goodies from the gummint.

Illegal aliens, and those who coddle illegal aliens, defecate on his grave.

What say you?

No problem.

If you read my comments, it is clear that I don’t think we should take them in.

I merely stated that what Beck did was a good rather than bad thing. That was the original point of discussion.

Anything which helps to encourage more invaders is, by definition, not a good thing. Beck is doing just that.

I disagree. Their reasons for coming will not be influenced at all if they are sent back. If this ploy works, it will increase the flow. If it doesn’t, it will eitherhave no effect or decrease. These ppeople don’t know who Beck is.
