As long as they’re tastefully done - like those in your post - what’s the problem?
Ask yourself why God would go to the trouble of telling Israel not to mutilate themselves?
First off if you do you are imitating the pagans, idolators, and heathens. Are Christians supposed to do that? But maybe you are the kind of individual that when someone tells you not to do something you go ahead and do it any way regardless of the consequences. Later, you’ll change your mind like so many, and have it removed with a laser. That’s gonna cost ya some bucks to put on as well as remove.
Look at it from a health perspective.
You create a place to introduce diseases that went designed to be there. The inks used are not good for you. Some have been found to be carcinogenic.

Ever seen a an old tat on an elderly individual? They don’t look so tasteful by then.
But if you REALLY gotta have it, go and mutilate yourself because you are free to do so! Freedom from the collectivist/pagan perspective is not a freedom with responsibility, but a freedom of wantoness and hedonism.
