If “great deception” it is in universally recognized New Testament canon.

There are, were, and always will be until Christ’s return, “Judaizers.” Who will insist the Jewish style is the only valid Christian style.
“The great deception” is not about various styles of worshiping Christ. It’s about pushing Christ out of the picture altogether. Once Christ has actually been encountered it is unmistakable who He is, and this is not now a God that stands on ceremony.
Of course it is - How else to almost fool the very elect? The problem isn't in the New Testament itself, but rather in how it is interpreted.

Do you really think it is about 'style'? YHWH does not change. Yeshua (our example) does not change.
As to 'Judaizers', one must understand the distinction between Torah and tradition, in just the same way that Roman tradition effects Christianity.
And the proof is in the prophets. They proclaim a day when the whole world will keep Torah, to include the Sabbath and the Holy Days... How then, does Christianity get from here to there? Just sayin.
I don’t know about ceremony but knowing the new moons, sabbaths and feasts given to the Jews were shadows and actually marked specific events in the Messiah’s life-
When you can see that in scripture? Wow, that certainly made ‘sunsday’ or ‘saturnsday’ and december 25 and easter on the pope’s calendar ceremonies meaningless..
Kind of like the pope’s calendar kind of skips or ignores some of the Word that became flesh parts...
Jews even have screwed up the calendar they were given by our Heavenly Father and use the pope as their guide so much more than Torah..
Kind of explains their suspension and postponement rules...
Jews, Muslims and Christians ( heck even satanists and secular humanist) all worship one thing.. the pope’s calendar...and each use it as their worship guide..
Maybe that is the great deception? Time will tell....
