“...we will when Jesus returns, we won’t need fancy robes or languages or ceremonies then...”

Those who wear the fancy robes with their ‘languages’ and ceremonies won’t recognize him. They will be just like the Pharisees 2000 years ago.

And those ‘evangelicals’ living in $10 million mansions or having worldwide outreach with their TV shows with huge income from their ‘pleadings’ to their audiences won’t recognize him either.

His return will be seen as a threat to their existance (and it will be). Their shout...’crucify, crucify’!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

exactly. But Catholics do not believe that. They pray to hundreds of different "Saints" (Saints who are designated by humans, mind you). Apparently they also really think the organization of the Catholic Church is in and of itself holy. Unscriptural.

“Just because there is more than one church does not mean there is disorder or confusion.”

Some support divorce, some support queers pretending to be married some support women in the pulpit, and others do not. That is rank disorder and confusion FRiend.

And some of those SAME people are Roman Catholics! Did having total control over all of Christendom, as the Roman Catholic church enjoyed for over a thousand years, prevent heresy, schism, debauchery within and without, genocide, infanticide, homosexual bishops and priests, sexual abuse of children and all the various and sundry evils within humanity??? The TRUTH never changed and never will.

Read carefully. Since the Church is the Body of Christ, She represents Christ — therefore, apart from Her, there is no salvation.

Actually, to be accurate and honest, the title should have said “500 Years of being Born Again, freed from their sin, and actually finding God”

Those TV shows... EWTN?

I don’t follow any televangelist, I don’t consider them worthy any more than I would consider any pomp and circumstance worthy.

Read John 17:11, GeronL.

God demands that we be united in a manner similar to the Trinity! Surely, the Trinity does not disagree on doctrine! To say otherwise is to blaspheme!

The thread creator did write the Catholic church is Christ. No scripture says that. Guess his purpose was to create the chaos his thread said protestants created.

**As far as I’m concerned, people who seek to sow discord between Catholics and protestants are a long way from serving God.**

Amen! The truth will prevail.

I am united with those who follow Christ. No man will come unto the father except through Jesus.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me

Catholics do NOT worship Mary. This belief is one of the biggest misbeliefs that non-Catholics have.

We worship, God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The church is never identified as Catholic.

Salvation is always thru Jesus Christ.
