Full Title: Obama Spiritual Adviser and Megachurch Pastor Joel Hunter Launches Interfaith Initiative to Tackle Climate Change

Florida pastor Joel Hunter is launching an initiative that empowers multifaith leaders to lead and engage others on climate solutions.

The initiative, called Blessed Tomorrow, brings together more than 20 evangelical, Catholic, Protestant, Muslim and Jewish leaders who are committed to working with their congregations and communities in response to climate change.

“Blessed Tomorrow empowers faith leaders from across religious traditions to both steward God’s creation and inspire their congregations, communities and other leaders to do the same,” a statement says.

“Faith leaders and their communities have been at the forefront of moving America forward throughout our nation’s history. From abolition to human rights, we have been there to answer our call to care for all of God’s creation. Blessed Tomorrow builds on that tradition by bringing together a diverse group of leaders from across the country who are committed to making an impact on one of the greatest moral imperatives of our time—climate change,” says Hunter, senior pastor of Northland, a Church Distributed, in Central Florida.

The Blessed Tomorrow website provides resources that leaders can use to inspire and empower their congregations and communities. It also allows congregations to create a “Path to Positive” plan, which helps congregations be better stewards of God’s creation.

so....he leads a Megachurch, and yet has no faith that God is ultimately in control of our climate?

If our pastor starts preaching about Global Warming, he may lose me. References to “social justice” are also off-putting but add Climate Change and I’ll have to rethink.

Triangulation.

Conservative normal Christianity (not to be confused with nutjob thumping Huckabee suckers) made “equal” with communist atheist Christianity with Obama as the center of the trinity.

I love the FR video of the lemmings jumping down the hole! Excellent! Want to help stamp out 'Communist Climate Change?' Here's how:

1. Stop all use of airplanes, trains, cars and another oil/gasoline propelled vehicles.

2. Bomb and obliterate all third world banana countries into non-existence. Wipe all Communist and Muslim countries off the face of the earth, including, and starting with, CHINA.

3. Stop all use of plastics, inks, solvents or any other oil/carbon based products from being produced.

4. Shut down all companies in the US who use any form of carbon-based energy.

5. Do away with the Executive Branch of Government and put me in charge.

That should help make a minor reduction. Sarcasm off/

Hmmm, do they exert the same energy to ‘steward God’s creation’ ie babies in the womb?

If this weren’t so damn sickening, it would be laughable.

Go ahead barry, command the sun to STOP those flares or you’ll....what??

Man, who knew there was so much money to be scammed from the ever changing climate?!

Since “global warming” is nothing but a political issue about fines, fees and taxes, what happened to the commie ‘RATS’ “wall of separation”?

Suspect this is a theologically liberal church. No sin, universalism, marries homosexuals, abortion is between a woman and god. (Little g).

This is probably a church liberals will actually join!

I think old Reverend Leroy is the real model for a lot of churches nowadays from the sex and drug scandals to the political agendas like this one.

God and the Bible aren’t bad, but the Good Book does have a lot in it about wrongdoing by religious leaders and churches.

I like the part where Jesus says “Do as the religious leaders say and not as they do”.

There is no wall of separation between Apostasy and State.

Muslims? Huh? Working with Muslims on climate change (or whatever they will call it in the days and weeks ahead)?

How about working with muslims to convert them from worshipping Satan?

“Don’t look now, but maybe a scientific consensus exists concerning global warming after all. Only 36 percent of geoscientists and engineers believe that humans are creating a global warming crisis, according to a survey reported in the peer-reviewed Organization Studies. By contrast, a strong majority of the 1,077 respondents believe that nature is the primary cause of recent global warming and/or that future global warming will not be a very serious problem.”

” the list of senior scientists steering the USGCRP draft report stretches the limits “objective” public policy believability.

As investigative journalist Donna Laframboise reports, most of the 13 senior scientists controlling the draft report are prominently associated with environmental activist groups. These are the folks putting together an “objective” assessment of global warming and government policy recommendations.

Let’s review the background of seven of the 13 senior scientists:

Chair of the report Jerry Melillo is a contributing author for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
Vice Chair Gary Yohe is part of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Climate Witness Program.
Richard Moss is a former vice president for WWF.
James Buizer is on the Board of Directors of the environmental activist group Second Nature.
Susanne Moser is a former staff scientist for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
Andrew Rosenberg is a director for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
Donald Weubbles is an author for the Union of Concerned Scientists.
That makes seven of the 13 people charged with putting together what is supposed to be our government’s objective assessment on climate change having deep and undeniable ties with environmental activist groups. And we are supposed to take this report seriously?

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

We should begin to see that the spiritual wickedness does not come from heaven but high places right here on earth.

:Do as they say: yes the Jewish religious leaders may have had some credibility but i doubt if he would go that far with these mentioned leaders of today.

Obama's real agenda....?http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/1932/04/hitler-and-hitlerism-germany-under-the-nazis/308961/">(The Führer’s early goals included physical education, a return to rural life, health care for all -- and foreboding plans for the Jews.)

(Former Hitler Youth Whistleblower Warns Of America's Nazi Future...).....Obama is "writing his own laws" when the U.S.Constitution stands in his way....some in our Congress are beginning to see the Dictator in Obama...he knows he can get away with anything even the murders in Benghazi because of the color of his skin and because he has "units" within our government doing and will do his bidding/stonewalling when asked.

But the compact, upbeat, Midwesterner is sanguine likening membership departures to separating the wheat from the chaff. ....”
