The Episcopal Church?

Isn’t that the only Protestant denomination that Catholics will accept ordained Episcopalian ministers into the Catholic church as priests from?

Seems to me I’ve heard of several accounts of Episcopalian ministers who have left their church for the RCC.

I find it odd that while the Catholic church condemns Protestant churches for being too liberal in that area, that they’ll accept the ordination of men from the very denominations they condemn.

Sorry to break it to you, but Episcopal "ordinations" are invalid.

Any Episcopal minister who becomes Catholic and is allowed to continue in his ministry must receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders. The same as a Presbyterian minister or a Lutheran minister.

The only others that have valid Holy Orders are the Orthodox (e.g., Greek Orthodox, Syrian Orthodox, Armenian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, etc.)

I believe most of those ministers are leaving or have left the Episcopal Church because of those liberal policies and are in accord with the teachings of the Catholic Church in that area.

Your information is incorrect.

Not all Episcopal ministers are homosexuals. Sounds to me like you are saying they are. I would suspect the figure is very small, no more than the percentage in the general population, which is around 2%.

It is not the only denomination from which pastors can convert to Rome and petition to be accepted into the priesthood. Lutherans may do so as well. IDK about others. It is an individual case by case proposition.

Why not? Their views would be more in line with the majority. But i think Lutherans (besides those of the Byzantine Rite) may also be accepted, but the distinctive title "priest" not celibacy as a normative requirement would be accepted by the NT church. Just another distinction btwn that and Rome.
