The beauty of an unchanging infinite God is that what was right and wrong is still right and wrong.
No.
If this false prophet desires to meet the Lord of Hosts in pleasant circumstances, I suggest he repent of his heinous sin. He should have been expelled from the body long ago. Much is the shame of the American Episcopal church.
He can call it whatever he likes but he should realize that The Pope cannot change Scripture.
Genie, baby, God says it’s a disorder. You have a prob, take it up with Him.
Tryting to change the definition of a vile, perverted practice into normality makes as much sense as trying to redefine the color of the sky or the state of the water.
The outrageous behavior and impudent affrontery and arrogance of the homosexual lobby demonstrates better than anything else the bankruptcy of the concept of tolerance when it comes to these creatures.
They want endorsment not tolerance.
How about adultery and fornication, Gene?
The pope can no more change God’s thoughts on sodomy as he can he can the 10 commandments.
Disorder?? Perversion is a better description.
openly gay bishop in a major Protestant denomination,
I am at a loss.
Yes all are sinners. The goal is to stop sinning, repent your sin and accept Jesus Christ.
So a drunkard can stop drinking repent and accept Jesus. all is good
However a drunkard can not keep drinking, not repent and not accept Jesus and all be good............
So how can an openly homosexual be a Bishop? He obviously has spit on the word of God. How then can he spread the word to others?
If he’s homosexually “ active” he has no business as a Christian cleric. It’s an affront to God and the church and a disservice to the flock.
Ah those crazy Protestants never change always thinking they can tell the Pope what to do.
And we're ALL sinners, Mr. Robinson.
Why are gays the ONLY ones clamoring to not have their behavior called a sin?
I've been a pretty sinful guy in my life, but it would never occur to me to claim that what I've done was "just peachy" with God.
That would be the definition of hubris.
Could a Catholic give a SIMPLE (yes or no) answer to this question:
If the Pope did suddenly say that homosexuality or homosexual acts are no longer a sin, would that make it so in the Catholic religion?
Gene Robinson, ‘father’ of the destruction of a major Protestant religion.
Homosexual adulterer, yeah that’s who I want to follow. /s
I like your thread on the Muslim convert better.
RE: Gene Robinson, father of the destruction of a major Protestant religion.
The blame goes up even higher — to those who ORDAINED him as Bishop.
And based on his orientation, I’m not even sure of Gene Robinson wants the term ‘father” used for him. :)
