I very much doubt that Orthodox Christians will be converting to Catholicism any time soon. They’re happy where they are.

I do too. But this is the thinking of a certain segment of traditional Catholics.

Personally I don’t think a reunion, should it ever happen, would involve any side “becoming” a member of the other side. We can’t foresee how it will happen but it will happen some day.

I agree, why would the descendents of the early Christian Church want to go to the church that left them in the first place?
