I’ve read a great many of daniel’s replies and I’ve found he he does his homework and makes very reasonable arguments. Argue with his conclusions if one must but his scholarship isn’t wanting. I just wish I had the patience he does when writing.

Agreed! I suspect whatever criticism “they” can muster towards Daniel1212 (one of the most scholarly and well-researched posters here) is purely out of envy and blind obeisance to the mantra that their church can never be wrong, has never been wrong and will never lead them wrongly. Any and all facts to the contrary must therefore be rebutted - even at the risk of appearing as brainwashed zombies - in the defense of the organization in which all their hope is invested.

That's a good way of putting it. The man himself doesn't get too out of shape if well enough shown to be wrong. He can retract a statement. That is in his favor, for contrary to some mindsets seeming on display around here, occasional error does not equate with being in error across the board. Confessing to such when shown, strengthens that which remains, like skimming dross increases purity.
I've retracted a few myself, or been lead to reconsider some lines of argument if not drop them entirely.

I appreciate your objectivity as one whom had engaged in debate with me, but i do need more patience (like with my arthritic fingers which do not type too well!), but God is the one who is the God of all patience, as towards me.
