Agreed! I suspect whatever criticism “they” can muster towards Daniel1212 (one of the most scholarly and well-researched posters here) is purely out of envy and blind obeisance to the mantra that their church can never be wrong, has never been wrong and will never lead them wrongly. Any and all facts to the contrary must therefore be rebutted - even at the risk of appearing as brainwashed zombies - in the defense of the organization in which all their hope is invested.

I'm looking forward to the replies to #1497. The most interesting thing is such info. as daniel uses is not secret, anyone can do the same research and learn how Mary is treated in Catholic teaching. But one can be sure none of this is unknown to Catholic teachers, so why are they so silent?

Thank God for your encouragement, but i do come short, and as i do seek to give proper and valid attribution then even fault finding criticism that spurs me to be more diligent. I recall checking out Ankerberg/Weldon’s book and finding the quote was there, and the next step is to get the 87 CE version and check it out.

Well that...and while cut/paste is derided (but not for Romanist promotional thread which flood this forum!) we are fighting software and programming which is cribbed from (or sometimes quoted without attribution, I do wonder) and an array of other apologetic writings either cribbed from, or having phraseology inspired from if not directly lifted from.

The results at times refute themselves, even in the same sentence, though more typically each error of assumption which is part of the overall storyliine, is tied well to some other subtlety, with it generally meshing well enough (if one puts on the Rome-colored glasses) that the slight changes become mistaken for truth itself, when in actuality when they do depart from scripture but stay near enough in spirit to truth -- can still be misunderstood when examining those items with eyes of flesh, rather than spirit --- and so it's away we go, off to the races, with ever more magic moveable rabbit holes to trip the unwary who've been enticed into to giving chase.
