I’ve noticed over the past few months, that there is a lot of Mormon bashing on FR. I’m curious as to the motive.

Some Christians FINALLY got tired of all of the LIES that MORMONism spouts and they decided to follow what the BIBLE has clearly taught for centuries:

B. Even if I were, I wouldn’t try to defend liberation theology (aka racial Marxism) as Christian either. Both are vehicles for making man into a god. The only real difference is the fool efficiency.

Yes, the "average mormon housewife" may not fully understand the doctrine, or be aware of Joseph Smith's many wives or other history but she will indeed be following the rules and regulations if she hopes to have her family with her in "eternity".

You may think that is what is being said, but it isn’t.

There is a difference between proclaiming and teaching views that are clearly not part of a faith’s doctrines, and people who agree on the doctrines essential to be considered as faithful to their particular faith, but have disagreements on non-essential issues.

This seven point breakdown touches on the former. There are differences in main essential points about who God is, what is required for salvation, etc. These are not minor points.

Originally Luther did not want to leave the RC church.

However there was a point in which he saw he had to because reform was impossible. If anything they dug into their heretical positions more solidly than ever.

But we are told that the truth of the Word of God will cause this to occur in some people. Others it will break through. Due to the unique characters and free will of different people. That doesn’t mean the approach isn’t valid or doesn’t do what it is intended to do. Or that they aren’t beyond hope of reaching with a different approach.
