Besides the Dec '07 Katie Couric interview, let's look at other pro-abortion components of Romney post his supposed Nov '04 pro-life "altar call."
May '05...press conference...he assures Massachusetts that he won't upset what he called "the status quo" on abortion.
My. My. How "pro-life" can you get?
2006: Romney pays for $50 taxpayer funded abortions with his RomneyCare.
Also with RomneyCare, he failed to veto the section where Planned Parenthood would be ensured to have a permanent rep on the oversight board of it...forever...
Then in the Aug 2007 interview with Chris Wallace, he claimed he NEVER was "pro-choice" 'cause he didn't "feel" like he was...
My.
What a confused mass from Mass...
If this is a "pro-life convert," what do pro-aborts look like?
I know this reality will be so hard for you to deal with that you won’t: some of us can talk about present day situations. Romney’s stance IS pro life. Period. Fact.
He IS pro life and supports overturning Roe v Wade, as well as defunding Planned Parenthood.
This is 2012 not 2007. I can answer your chart that deals with 2007 but Mitt Romney IS a totally pro life candidate. You should be happy about that.
As for 2007, I know Romney basically used a democrat type argument in the past, that he personally was against abortion but he would accept that women had a right to abortion. As your quotes include, Romney has admitted that really amounted to a pro abortion position.
Romney is pro life, Obama is pro abortion/infanticide. That really is not a hard comparison to deal with.
To answer your last question, pro aborts look like Barack Obama. Romney switched to pro life. You should be glad but you’re not. I am. Some people can’t take “yes” for an answer.
After you help reelect Obama, do you think it will matter to the millions aborted that you ridiculed Romney on his past inconsistencies?
You miss the obvious: Romney said thruout 2007 that he was "pro-life" THEN, too...
When?
Romney said he "switched" to pro-life in Nov 2004.
Then he made pro-abortion statements in '05.
Then he had pro-abort actions in '06.
Then by Jan '07 on the campaign trail was touting he was "pro-life." (So was that switcheroo III?)
Both in Aug '07 (chris wallace interview) and Nov 2011 (Ann Romney in parade mag interview) claimed that Mitt had ALWAYS been pro-life!!!
And by Dec 07 he was back to saying 'twas "OK" for parents to "donate" their offspring to "research."
[for statements confirming all this, see previous chart, etc.]
Why, of course, Ann! Why, of course, Mitt! Why, of course, Williams! Mitt Romney's ALWAYS been "pro-life!"
HA HA HA HA HA
[The joke is on you...and on the pre-born]
I’m sorry but your whole approach is moronic. The candidate is pro life. So you will reelect a pro infanticide communist while you run around snorting ha ha about the candidate’s quotes from 2007. How idiotic is that?
You’re going to “prove” that a pro life candidate “really” must be pro choice. Well that’s brilliant. Not.
Ha ha 2007 ha ha reelect Barack Obama, oh I feel so smart now.
Ha ha 7 pro abortion liberals on the Supreme Court ha ha too bad unborn babies ha ha big joke really showed that Romney ha ha.
Have a good night. I’m sorry but it’s sad to see pro life people convince themselves they should defeat the pro life candidate and reelect the pro abortion one.
Ha ha Romney only appointed 1/4 of Mass judges who were GoP (& who even knows how many of them were pro-life).
If Romney's 3/4 track record continues of ensuring non-GoP judges are appointed, look out!
They are both pro-death.
You simply choose to believe the empty rhetoric of one of them.
Yeah its real smart to condemn the candidate who agrees with you.
Yes; it does seem extreme, considering what I posted to begin with:
To: WilliamsJews dont give a damn about Mormons, anymore than Roman Catholics do.Golly!
The Pope should hear about this!!
...or any OTHER religions, either.
It's a BIG handbasket, and many are in it.
I, for one, am not willing to let the ignorant stay in the basket without knowing some facts.
For some reason this upsets others.
Are THEY in they basket; too?
No; I don't. I ask for EVIDENCE to back up the claims that you make in those sentences.
If the individual statementrs cannot stand on their own, binding them together will not make the claims any stronger.
MORMONism is a HERESY.
There you go again; trying to bury someone with evidence!
While tending to IGNORE the PAST's evidence of a differing 'stance'.
Can we say FLIP-FLOP?
Romney switched to pro life.
I guess we can!!
Move along folks; no religious convictions to see here.
My use of the TRUE definition, dear Elsie - put the emphasis where it belongs.
