IMO, the Mormons have more Chritianity than most.
We're not talking about Mormons, we're talking about Mormonsim and it's founder.

You forgot one:
"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve." -2 Cor 11:13-15
So here's the thing: Two different guys, centuries and continents apart, are living their lives minding their own businesses, when suddenly the "Angel Gabriel" appears to them and delcares among other things that:
The churches of Christ are corrupt and obsolete.
God's written word is incomplete. Therefore a third, "New" New Testement is necessary and here it is, grab a pencil. Also,
Polygamy is not only okay, it is to be encouraged and pursued.

Poor response. You avoid the issue. The issue is, either the Book is true or it is false. If it is false, then people such as yourself have nothing to be concerned with. If the Book is true, then it speaks of eternal consequences for ignoring it’s truth. If you are willing to face those consequences, so be it. But you have been counseled by the Teachings of The Book. Do not blame others if in the eternal you are wrong.

Truth doesn't reside in a book.
You call God's Word a book? They are HIS WORDS!! What 'book' do you know that has the power like this.
"For the WORD of God is LIVING and ACTIVE. SHARPER than any two-edged sword, It PENETRATES even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it JUDGES the thoughts and attitudes of the heart". Heb 4:12
It LIVES in yourself.
NO IT DOESN'T. You have to read It, believe It and meditate on it for "IT/TRUTH" to get within you. The Great 'I AM' KNOWS what we need and how we attain it.

And you are more of a Christian than they are? By your OWN glorification? Just like them. Am I more of a Christian then they are?
Well, they aren't Christians so the answer would be, yes.

I guess you don't play to Hie to Kolob, as in the LDS hymn, "
If You Could Hie to Kolob (here, Mitt Romney style)". The Book of Abraham is the only place where Kolob, the planet where the gods live (or star near which the planet is), is mentioned.
Curiously, Joseph Smith, Jr. never said the Book of Abraham was scripture. That was somebody's idea in 1880, when it was canonized.
Don't get me started. The Book of Abraham has been thoroughly debunked by every source in the world - including LDS historians - except rabid apologists who are triple-jointed and intellectually dishonest to suggest it's anything other than a crass attempt to interpret hieroglyphics by somebody who had no idea what he was doing.

I am certainly not saying to ignore the word of GodYes you are.... Look at what you wrote.
The Bible is a good measure, but that measuring stick was not available at the time of Noah
In Noah's time.... What time is it now? How long has it been since the warning has been sounded in the bible not to be fooled by false prophets? So you want to jump before the warning and apply it now, skip over what Jesus said, to validate Mormonism? That's the work of the devil.

Seriously now.... false prophet? Heck YES! “The” false prophet... I haven’t a clue. We ARE to “beware”, nonetheless.
Merry Christmas, Jim and Sheila!

When you read Matthew 24, Christ Jesus speaks of the signs of the times, etc. At least three times in that chapter, He mentions false teachers, Prophets, etc. He also mentions the earthquakes, weather, etc. So, mentioning the false teachers, etc. three times must mean that He felt that was very important to point out three times in 20 something verses.

And as much as I despise Islam, were all walking down the same road.
Except Christ himself said:
Matthew 7:13-14
13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Also:
John 10:8-9
8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture
Those practicing Islam will not see Heavan unless they repent and accept the God of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham, and Accept Jesus as their Savior and the only begotten Son of God.
To me, the promise of the Christ means there is no failure. No one is left behind, and a lot of the hellfire and brimstone stuff is something out of a medieval nightmare.
The promise of Christ comes with a Means Test:
John 3:3-16
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Furthermore:
Mark 1:15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
My Faith isnt in a book.
Given your lack of knowledge concerning Christianity, I would agree with that statement of yours. Do yourself a favor and spend some more time in the Bible.
You have a religion you have made up that pleases your sensibilities, it is NOT the religion God would have you to enjoy, and it definitely isn't going to lead you where you want to be at the end of your life.
To: Brad's Gramma
I wished I’d have thought of that.
